Rep. Steve Kagen (D-WI) Shouted Down At Town Hall

Wisconsin Congressman Steve Kagen gets drowned out by an angry group at a town hall at – of all places – a library. After Greta Van Susteren played the clip, Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty likened the scene to “a Vikings-Packers game.”

This is democracy, and this is how our founding fathers intended it to be.

These assholes in Wisconsin are nothing but die hard democrats and now they whine and cry about a government takeover of health care?

@rightman230 More teabagger lies and disinformation!

  9. rightman230 says:

@hemispheres3 You are scary stupid, friend. Omnibus and Obamacare, both of which Kagen (HC Bill editor) supported FULLY and VOTED for, robbed $200-$500 BILLION from Medicare. In his practice, Kagen Allergy, which sits next to his brother’s and father’s dermatology clinic, he does NOT accept Medicare Assignment – nor does his father (Marv) or brother (Charlie). This means if you have no private insurance, what Medicare doesn’t pay – YOU pay. Kagen fights for seniors. Right, liberal moron!

The interesting thing about this clip is that it looks like about two-thirds of these people are old enough and receive medicare and medicaid. Most of them would be either very sick or dead without medicare and medicaid which are government programs. And don’t argue that these are programs funded through our taxes and you would rather handle it yourself, all you have to do to find out what would happen if that were the case is look at money mismanagement by the people(credit card debt)!

It seems like the majority of people have no idea what the health care reform does, In japan i have national health insurance I pay 30% of all medical costs. In america people pay nothing without insurance, but too many people cant pay the bill when something goes wrong. It looks to me as if the people are just an uninformed angry mob. Yelling and screaming without discussion, just like a child.

  12. braveheart1779 says:

@twichesyt And i haven’t paid into it? I won’t even get any despite my payments!

Your God is dead, so why don’t you bring some facts next time, instead of fairytales.

I am going to tremble at your comment.. hahaha

These people are emotional & whacko. Do these people want US citizens health in the hands of profiteers who cut service in order to make profit, where the poor who can’t afford private roll up and die? These people do not speak for God, they are just speaking for their own personal greed of not sharing their money through tax to the less fortunate. Shame. on them.US health care is ranked as one of the lowest in developed countries. Health care is a nations investment in people not a cost burden

  14. twichesyt says:

@braveheart1779 why? they paid into it. Just because you dont like there politicial beliefs you think they should die? Wow. What a terrible, sad, liberal misguided belief. I feel sorry for you. May God have mercy on your pathetic existance.

@Carpathia25 First of all, that is bullshit lol you must be watching too much MSNBC. Secondly, we live in a REPUBLIC – NOT a democracy! That means, whoever speaks the LOUDEST and echoes the LONGEST is SUPPOSED to get their way. Conservatives are clearly speaking the loudest right now.

  19. Tkachuk175 says:

All insurance is only a promise to pay and any compulsory purchase of any sort of insurance in order to continue the daily act of living is protection insurance racketeering

  22. dave777blaster says:

now that the Republicans are calling for the retirement age be moved to 70 while the Democrats are calling for medicare
We can easily see that the 2 parties have the same agenda .
What the American people should be screaming about is the salaries of the politicians should be halved and their pensions should only be paid at age 125.
that should save some money now that austerity is coming to USA

  23. mortalmisfit says:

Well if the government is going to force the people to buy health insurance on the basis of just being alive, why dont they reinstitute the draft on the basis of living in the United States

  24. braveheart1779 says:

    They’re all white seniors!!!

Hey old fuckers!! GIVE BACK YOUR MEDICARE AND SOCIAL SECURITY!!

  25. abukamoon says:

These politicians can keep their Communist health care. Why don’t they give us the system THEY have? We are paying for it.
