In yet another demonstration of their “love for the Constitution” the Republicans in the House Of Representatives had a highly acclaimed director and his film crew arrested today for trying to film a Congressional hearing on the controversial natural gas drilling practice called fracking. Josh Fox, the director of the Academy Award-nominated documentary “Gasland”, a film which criticizes fracking, and his crew were arrested by Capitol Police and charged with unlawful entry. Unlawful entry to a hearing that was open to the public! God forbid the public should find out what’s going on in their backyards – like why their water is polluted and so contaminated with benzene their faucets catch on fire if you light a match near them! And you wonder Republicans want to get rid of the EPA? Don’t forget, it was Republican Speaker John Boehner and the Tea Party who made everyone in Congress get up and read the Constitution out loud on their first day in session. Since the First Amendment was still in the Constitution the last time I looked, the Republicans who called the cops on this film crew are domestic enemies in my book, and they should be thrown out of Congress immediately for violating their own oath of office. And how many freedom loving Constitution quoting teabagger patriots rushed to the camera crew’s defense? None! We need to get these fascist fucktards and the teabagger Taliban assholes out of our government, and never ever let them back in again – or else pretty soon …
